ECW WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT (2000):
The tournament came as a result of Rob Van Dam having to relinquish the title due to an injury suffered. At the time, Van Dam had held the ECW World Television Championship for 2 years from 1998-2000 but was injured in a match with Rhino and had to take 12 weeks off due to surgery on his ankle. The tournament ended at the ECW Living Dangerously 2000 pay-per-view event.
