• Simon Diamond turns 55 years old today! (Following his run in ECW he had a successful career on the independent scene working for such promotions as USA Professional Wrestling, Border City Wrestling and World Wrestling All-Stars. In Major League Wrestling, he formed The Extreme Horsemen with his two former ECW allies Steve Corino and CW Anderson. Justin Credible was also a member and JJ Dillon briefly managed them before MLW went on a hiatus from 2004-2011. He would join TNA, teaming with Johnny Swinger and won the NWA World Tag Team Championships in 2003. They eventually split up and feuded in 2004. After not being used for awhile, he would have some occasional runs with the company before transitioning to a road agent for the company. In 2010 he aligned himself with fellow ECW alumni Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Stevie Richards, Rhino, Brother Devon (D-Von Dudley), Al Snow and Mick Foley for their invasion of TNA and subsequent TNA HardCore Justice 2010 pay-per-view, which was a ECW tribute show. Simon teamed with Swinger to face The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido, Tony Luke and Tracy Smothers) who defeated them. Simon began dating Dawn Marie in 1998. They had been friends since at least 1996 before they began dating. They planned to get married by the end of 2000 or 2001. They didn't wed but ended up staying together for several years afterwards. After 7 years together, their relationship came to an end. They had a child born in 2010.
