Tony Lewis (from StrictlyECW.com) Explores ECW's Elks Lodge

Tony Lewis (who used to run the website StrictlyECW.com in the late 1990's - early 2000's) takes us on a tour of the "Madhouse of Extreme" in Queens, New York City - The Elks Lodge #878!

ECW ran many shows in this venue from the years 1997-2000. They held the last show at the Madhouse of Extreme on December 15, 2000 when after over a year in the WWE, The Dudley Boys (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) made a one-night only return to the promotion that put them on the map as a way to give back to the promotion during their dying days.

Here is quotes from The Dudleys regarding their returns to the Madhouse in 2000: "If it wasn't for ECW, we wouldn't be sitting here talking right now," Buh Buh Ray said. "If it wasn't for Paul Heyman letting the Dudley Boyz go out there and do what we do, we wouldn't be talking right now. So this is our way of giving back to the company that really made us and invented us and hopefully helping out the guys over there."

"When I was approached with the idea, I didn't hesitate," added D-Von. "They're the guys that brought me to the dance. If they're behind in times right now, I don't mind at all and helping them out."
