Jim Ross talks about hiring former ECW World Heavyweight Champion "The Human Suplex Machine" Taz. For those not aware, Jim Ross was the executive vice president of talent relations for the WWF (now the WWE) during this time period which gave him the unique opportunity to be a talent scout and was one of the main people in charge of hiring new talents to the organization. Ross was responsible for the signing of the former ECW World Heavyweight, Tag Team and World Television Champion, who made his WWF (now known as WWE) debut at the 2000 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. He received a major pop from the crowd in his hometown of New York at the legendary wrestling arena, Madison Square Garden (see the debut below as well!)
