Wrestler death(s): Back in 2007, it was revealed that Chris Benoit had not only murdered his wife, but also their 7-year old son, Daniel, before hanging himself in the weight room of their home in the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia. It was a moment in professional wrestling history that unfortunately had a LOT come from it in the years that followed. Benoit was erased from the WWE history books and his matches were cut from DVD releases. His title reigns were all but erased. But what also changed was the whole landscape of the business because with the talk that CTE caused Benoit to snap and do the unthinkable that weekend, it changed the business because now WWE has banned almost all moves that injure the head like chair shots to the head or flying headbutts like Benoit was so known for doing. It also was the beginning of what is regarded as the PG Era of WWE, which started just after the Benoit tragedy happened and was a way for the company to look better to all of its advertisers and business partners of the WWE.
