Wrestler death(s): Matt Borne (who appeared as Doink the Clown in the WWF, and later appeared as Doink and Borne Again in ECW) passed away on this day in 2013. Osborne was found dead in the Plano, Texas apartment he lived in. He was 55 years old. Though no weapons were found near his body, and police said the death appeared accidental, they launched a precautionary homicide investigation. The cause of death was determined to be an accidental overdose of morphine and hydrocodone. He also suffered from heart disease, with it being a contributing factor in his death. In 2023, an episode of VICE TV's series "Dark Side of the Ring" took a look at Borne's death and drug issues.
