Wrestler birthday(s): Former 2-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk was born on this day in 1944. That makes him 79 years old today! Funk single handedly put ECW on the map back in the early days when he unselfishly put over several talents on their way to the top such as Sabu, Cactus Jack, Raven, Stevie Richards, Tommy Dreamer and the list goes on. It was only fitting that when ECW held it's first pay-per-view in 1997 that they decided to let Funk win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship to show their thanks for the legends contributions to ECW in the early days.
