As we reported, Rob Van Dam is set to make his third appearance on All Elite Wrestling's Dynamite from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this coming Wednesday Night, where he is set to once again team up with Taz's son HOOK (the current reigning FTW Champion) to face a team that is To Be Announced.
During his Q&A behind Fightful's paywall, Sean Sapp was asked about RVD's current AEW deal. He stated that RVD has not inked a full-time contract with the promotion, so right now he's just on a per-appearance type deal.
"Rob Van Dam is back in action next Wednesday in Philadelphia for AEW, but he's just on a per-appearance basis, he hasn't signed an actual contract".
Van Dam previously faced off with Jack Perry in an FTW Rules Match for the FTW Championship back in early-August, and returned in late-September for an episode of AEW Collision, which saw him and Taz's son HOOK team up against Matt Menard and Angelo Parker (formerly of the Jericho Appreciation Society).
