ECW Original The Sandman Set for VICE TV's Dark Side of the Ring Season 5

 Former record 5 time ECW World Heavyweight Champion The Sandman will be featured on VICE TV's Dark Side of the Ring Season 5. Season 5 of the critically acclaimed docu-drama series is set to debut with an episode on John 'Earthquake' Tenta on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 @ 10 PM ET on VICE TV. 

Other episodes of the series will cover Chris Adams, Sensational Sherri Martel (also an ECW original), Terry Gordy (another ECW original), Harley Race, Buff Bagwell, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Chris Colt, as well as Black Saturday (Vince McMahon purchasing Georgia Championship Wrestling in 1984 for access to its time slot on Ted Turner's TBS network). Season 5 is set to have 10 episodes. This will bring Dark Side of the Ring up to 60 episodes total across 5 seasons, having debuted in April of 2019. 

Season Two aired in 2020, Season 3 in 2021, Season 4 aired in 2023, after the series took a break in 2022. The series, which has been VICE TV's highest-rated series in it's history, has been such critically acclaimed that they have produced spin-off series such as Dark Side of Football, Dark Side of the 90s, Dark Side of Comedy and Dark Side of the 2000s.
