Today in ECW History - April 3rd

Today in ECW History - April 3rd:

Wrestler birthday(s): Lance Storm was born on this day in 1969. During his time in ECW, Storm held the ECW World Tag Team Championship on three occasions. The first reign was with Chris Candido, whom he didn't get along with during the title reign. His 2nd and 3rd reigns were with Justin Credible as The Impact Players. Storm left ECW in 2000 and joined WCW, where he remained until the company was bought out by the WWF. He would move onto the WWF and had a career there until 2005 when he left. At ECW One Night Stand in 2005, he defeated Chris Jericho (his longtime friend and former tag team partner) with the help of Impact Player team mate Justin Credible. He also appeared at Hardcore Homecoming November Reign in November 2005, interfering in a Steel Cage Match between Justin Credible and Jerry Lynn, heling his former Impact Players team mate to defeat Lynn. He would retire following his 2016 match against Matt Hardy where Storm was managed by Missy Hyatt at the 2016 WrestleCon event. He would in later years work for TNA/Impact Wrestling and WWE as a producer and coach. As of 2022, he is with Impact Wrestling/TNA again.
