Wrestler birthday(s): On this day in 1964, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas was born. Douglas is a former 4-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion, 2-time ECW World Television Champion and 1-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion (having won the 1994 NWA World Championship Tournament which led to the creation of Extreme Championship Wrestling, renamed from Eastern after ECW and Douglas double-crossed the NWA). He is also a Hardcore Hall of Fame, Class of 2014 inductee at the 2300 Arena (formerly known as the ECW Arena)
