Death(s): In 1993, Kerry Von Erich passed away with his death being ruled a suicide. Von Erich appeared on January 23rd, 1993 at ECW Battle of the Belts where he went to a double DQ with Salvatore Bellomo in his only match for ECW. He wrestled 2 more recorded matches between his ECW match and his passing. (Cagematch) In 1995, Eddie Gilbert passed away with his death being ruled due to heart failure. Gilbert had a hand in the early days of ECW and also appeared as a talent in Tri-State Wrestling Alliance before the ECW days (TWA was the company that morphed into Eastern Championship Wrestling, which later itself became Extreme Championship Wrestling). In 2014, Viscera aka Mabel passed away with his death also being ruled from heart failure. Viscera had previously worked as Big Daddy V in the "ECW" reboot done by WWE in 2007. In 2017, Ivan Koloff passed away from Liver Disease. Koloff appeared in ECW during 1993 and 1994 along with Vladimir Koloff as a team during the early days of ECW. Koloff previously worked Tri-State Wrestling Alliance events as well.
