Death(s): Salvatore Bellomo (pictured, above) passed away on this day in 2019. Bellomo wrestled in ECW beginning in the early ECW days in 1992, appearing frequently through til 1994. He would leave the company following the ECW The Night The Line Was Crossed event in February 1994 but continued to appear on ECW Hardcore TV until leaving ECW in May 1994. Bellomo returned to ECW in June 1996 at Hardcore Heaven 1996 he would join the Full Blooded Italians stable, accompanying them for their match against JT Smith and Little Guido. In September 1996 at When Worlds Collide II, Bellomo, JT Smith and Little Guido unsuccessfully challenged The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) for the ECW World Tag Team Championship. Bellomo would leave ECW once more again later that year. Following his ECW run, Bellomo would continue to wrestle on the indy circuit until 2018. He continued to be active in the business up to his death, working as a trainer for the Belgian Wrestling School located in Terhagen and Flemalla (Belgium). He died of cancer on February 9th, 2019 at the age of 67 years old. e
