Video Games


In it's short history, Extreme Championship Wrestling released two different video games, both released by Acclaim Entertainment. Click on the game below to go to the page dedicated to the release:


  • ECW Hardcore Revolution  was released for Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, PlayStation and Dreamcast on February 17th, 2000 in North America and March 3rd, 2000 in Europe for the Game Boy, Nintendo and PlayStation versions. The Dreamcast version was released on February 29th, 2000 in North America and March 17th, 2000 in Europe.










  • ECW Anarchy Rulz was released for PlayStation on August 15th, 2000 in North America and September 1st, 2000 in Europe. The Dreamcast version was released on November 28th, 2000 in North America and February 9th, 2001 in Europe.








  • WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008 featuring ECW was released on PlayStation 2, Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS. The game was released on November 9th, 2007 in Europe, November 13th, 2007 in North America, November 15th (Nintendo DS, PS2, Wii and Xbox 360) and November 22nd, 2007 (PS3 and PSP)  in Austrailia and on February 14th, 2008 in Japan.
The game had several original ECW alumni including Tommy Dreamer (who also was the General Manager of ECW in the GM Mode), The Sandman, Sabu and Terry Funk. As well as Mick Foley, Eddie Guerrero, Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Jim Neidhart, Rey Mysterio. The game featured for the first time in a WWE game the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, as well as the use of Barbed Wire Baseball Bat, Fire and the revived ECW brand name itself. The ECW branding expanded the number of weapons under the ring, with the game now featuring guitars and the ability to light tables on fire as well.
