AEW CEO Tony Khan recently tweeted that Van Dam will be making another appearance for AEW at their April 20th, 2024 edition of AEW Collision, in a location that is yet to be announced.
Rob Van Dam's previous AEW matches include his debut match on the August 9th, 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite where he challenged FTW Champion Jack Perry (formerly known as Jungle Boy) for the title in an FTW Rules match. He would return in September 2023 for an episode of AEW Collision where he teamed up with Taz's soon HOOK to defeat the team of Angelo Parker and Matt Menard. Then a month later, "Mr. Wednesday Night" returned to Dynamite to team up with HOOK again to defeat the team of Alex Reynolds and John Silver of Dark Order. His last AEW matchup as back in January where he was defeated by Swerve Strickland in a Hardcore match that was part of Swerve and "Hangman" Adam Page's Dealer's Choice storyline which saw Swerve pick the opponent for "Hangman" Adam Page and Page picking Swerve's match and stipulation.I'm excited to announce that RVD will return to @AEWonTV on TNT for 4/20 Saturday Night #AEWCollision!
